Social GPT

Social GPT is an AI assistant that helps you write captions, replies, and messages, and edits or scores your photos. Using any of this requires an account. To generate results, the App sends the text you enter and any photos you upload to AI model providers and returns the result. We keep the amount of data we handle as small as possible.

You need an account to use the App's AI features. You can create one with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google or Apple.

• Email/password sign-up: we collect the email, password, and name you provide.
• Sign in with Google or Apple: we receive the name and email you choose to share through that provider.

Account creation and sign-in are handled by Supabase, our authentication provider.

When you ask the App to generate a reply, run the AI Photo Studio, or rank your photos, the following is sent to our AI model providers for processing:

• The text you typed or pasted, or the conversation you're getting coached on.
• Any photo you upload for an opener suggestion, screenshot import, photo ranking, or AI Photo Studio edit.
• Settings you chose for that request (such as tone, vibe, or style).

Do not upload sensitive information (other people's private photos without their consent, financial details, private identifiers) into the App. Treat your prompts and photos the way you would treat anything you'd upload to a web service.

Generated replies, coaching, practice conversations, photo-based opener suggestions, screenshot reading, and photo ranking are all produced by OpenAI. Photo enhancement and editing in AI Photo Studio is produced by Replicate. When you submit a prompt or photo, it's transmitted to the relevant provider over an encrypted connection.

These providers process what you send to generate a response. Under their current terms for API access, data submitted through our API integration is not used to train their models. Please review their policies for the most up-to-date details:

Dating Coach conversations and Practice Texting (simulator) sessions are saved to our servers, using Supabase, so you can pick them up again and across devices, and are also cached locally on your device for faster loading.

• Coach conversations: kept for 30 days since your last message.
• Practice sessions still in progress: kept for 7 days.
• Finished practice sessions (with your debrief and score): kept for 60 days.

You can delete a conversation at any time from inside the App.

Your opener/reply history, uploaded and generated photos, and app preferences are stored locally on your device only — we do not upload this to our servers. Deleting the App removes all of this local data.

We do not currently use any analytics or crash-reporting SDK in the App. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.

If you opt in to share diagnostics with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may still send us anonymous crash reports independently of anything the App does.

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your prompts or photos to train any model we control.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Paid features and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google through the App Store/Play Store using your account there. We never receive or store your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements, which links your subscription status to your account so the App knows what you've unlocked.

You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Delete Account in the App. This deletes your account and your saved Coach/Practice chat history.

Basic server logs of your API requests (the route called, timestamp, and duration — never the content of your messages) are kept for up to 30 days for reliability and abuse prevention, and are de-identified rather than deleted when you delete your account; they're purged automatically after that window regardless.

Social GPT is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

You can delete your account and its associated history at any time from inside the App (see "Deleting your account" above). If you have questions about data held by our AI providers, contact those providers directly using the links above.

If we make material changes (for example, adding a new AI provider or an analytics SDK), we will update the effective date and the relevant sections. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
